Mike & Sarah...Sarah & Mike, always and forever...began their journey together with friendship, and their life together was carved out on the day they met...Mike just didn't know it yet. While friendship began their journey together, love showed up over time, and they married. Mike and Sarah, and Mike's two boys, Chandler and Kameron, were now a family...

On December 12, 2004, their little family grew--Damon Navarro came into their lives and everything changed again...as they do when a baby enters the picture. For the next six months, they did all the things every couple with a new baby does...and they learned some things...they learned that 24 hours just aren't enough hours for a day anymore, that babies don't know how to tell time, that "family" means so much more than either of them ever imagined...love, discovery, disagreements, closeness, sharing-- and responsibility for someone other than themselves, and that although life isn't always what you want it to be, but that the times that it is makes up for the times that it isn't.

When Mike was recuperating from his brain surgeries, he did a lot of sleeping...so did Damon...and they both did a lot of dreaming, as you can see.....

Mike & Sarah made plans...first, to get their own apartment. Mike got a new job, and plans for being on their own began to take shape. What they didn't know during all this time of change and discovery and making plans, was that destiny was not headed in the same direction as they were...destiny had its own plans. Six months after they married, Mike was diagnosed with a a brain tumor...and this young family started on a journey that no one wants to buy tickets for...yet it was a journey that made them stronger, showed them strengths neither of them ever knew they had, and showed others how love endures, how love should be, how love survives...
